It was the only cemetery for prostitutes in Europe. The church denied their (prostitute's) bodies to be buried with other people because they led a sinful life.
It's a construction site now, but many people oppose any building to be constructed on the burial ground. People still pay respects to the spirits by decorating the gate. |
